| At the 6th Brigade Exco Meeting on 3rd February 2001, a policy has been formulated to ensure better co-ordination of dissemination of official information : | |

to the public and other bodies / organisations / associations / press other than the Boys' Brigade in Malaysia (inclusive of BB Company). |

in a way of physical representation by BB Officers and members (Boys & Girls) officially at official public functions such as attending or granting press conference to the press / bodies / organisation / association. |

BB Company |
| a) Any official invitation received directly from bodies /
organisations / associations other than The Boys' Brigade in Malaysia, acceptance
of the invitation shall be at the discretion of the Company Captain. b) Acceptance of any official invitation shall not constitute the representation of The Boys' Brigade in Malaysia by the said Company and therefore any express opinion or statement made officially or unofficially by any BB officer and members are not of BB Malaysia. |

Official invitation (by correspondence or verbal) as guest which requires making official statement through speeches and press conference about the Boys' Brigade in Malaysia, received by the Members of the Brigade Exco Members, Staff, Captains, Acting Captains, Lieutenants, Warrant Officers, Boys and Girls to attend official functions outside The Boys' Brigade in Malaysia representing : |
| a) Brigade level must have approval from the National President prior to attending any official function. b) State / Company level |
