Definition |

The
Brigade Award is the highest award that a member can achieved in The
Boys' Brigade in Malaysia. This award is a Brigade level award which
is awarded with the approval and endorsement of the Brigade Executive
Council which is the highest executive body of The Boys' Brigade in
Malaysia. |

Objective |
| |
The
objective of the Brigade Award is to recognise the highest achievement
and recognition accorded to members of the Boys' Brigade in Malaysia
for their dedicated service and contribution towards the Organisation. |

Application
Procedure |
| |
The
Application form is obtainable from the Company Captain or from the
Brigade HQ. |

Gold
Award
Junior
Gold Award Application Form 1 June 2003
a) Please submit the form before the deadline.
b) The Junior Gold Award Examining Committee will send you the Test
Paper as soon as they are ready.
c) Result will be announced by letter to the Company Captain and
also in the BBM Circular or Berita Anchor Magazine. |

Presidents' Award Application Form *
a) * Please submit the form as soon as the candidate has fulfilled
the criteria set by the President's Award requirements in the Handbook
for Members.
b) The Application Form must be submitted to BB HQ for processing
at least seven (7) working days prior to the recommendation at the
Brigade Exco Meeting date.
c) Please contact BB HQ to check on the next Brigade Exco Meeting
date.
d) Result will be announced by letter to the Company Captain and also
in the BBM Circular or Berita Anchor Magazine. |

Founder's Award *
a) *Candidate/Applicant who wish to work for the Founder's Award must
write in officially to the Brigade Secretary prior to the commencement
of his/her
Founder's Award project/assignment.
b) After having gained the approval for the commencement of the project
or assignment, the Candidate will have to fulfill all the requirements
of the Founder's Award in the Handbook for Members.
c) Upon completion of the project, the Candidate will have to notify
the Brigade Secretary for assessment.
d) The Brigade Secretary will recommend the candidate for the award
at the Brigade Exco Meeting with the official letter of recommendation
from the Candidate's Captain.
e) Result will be announced by letter to the Company Captain and also
in the BBM Circular or Berita Anchor Magazine. |

Officer
Service Medal *
a) * Please submit the form as soon as the candidate has fulfilled
the criteria.
b) The Nomination Form must be submitted to BB HQ for processing at
least seven (7) working days prior to the recommendation at the Brigade
Exco Meeting date.
c) Please contact BB HQ to check on the next Brigade Exco Meeting
date.
d) Result will be announced by letter to the Company Captain and also
in the BBM Circular or Berita Anchor Magazine. |

The Star Contributors Recognition Award *
a) * Please submit the form as soon as the candidate has fulfilled
the criteria.
b) The Application Form must be submitted to BB HQ for processing
at least seven (7) working days prior to the recommendation at the
Brigade Exco Meeting date.
b) Please contact BB HQ to check on the next Brigade Exco Meeting
date.
c) BB HQ will inform the Company Captain the date of the presentation
ceremony. |

*Note
Application shall be held back until applicant's Company year 2002
Brigade Dues is paid and / or the Company has been absent for two
consecutive Brigade Council meetings. |

Presentation
Brigade Awards |
| |
The result of
the application will be announced at the official BBM Circular, Berita
Anchor magazine and through letter of official notification to the
Captain. The awards must be presented at a proper ceremony at any
one of the following functions by order of priority : |

a) BB Malaysia
- Brigade level Functions or at any the highest Brigade Function e.g.
Pesta, Camps, National Council Meeting, at the office of the Brigade
Patron etc.
b) State Level Function e.g. Founder's Day, District Events, at the
office of the District Patron etc. |
